oh yeah, this is my hair now. Or, 5 minutes ago. It's a throwback to my 9-year old self: stringy ponytail, long straight bangs, always snarly.

The former human vacuum now adheres to a strict pizza, blueberry, and peas diet, supplemented with sippy cups of half and half. I swear her ribs normally don't stick out like this. She's just sucking in for the picture.

I hit a low point in motherhood. As I was loading the dishwasher and Ava was unloading it, I noticed she must have sat in some water because she was all wet. Nope, more like I forgot to put a diaper on her last time I changed her. When was that? I don't know, maybe one or maybe three hours ago. It was a pretty sad moment..










After her taste of freedom, Ava no longer wants to wear diapers. But then when she started crouching and grunting I persisted. Good thing, because I was about 30 seconds away from hitting new low point .

We had such a fun trip to Boston 2 weeks ago! I am slow in posting the pictures, but here they are. Ava loved playing with her cousins, and also holding Audrey's hand really really hard.

As for this week, Ava and I have been quarantined because she has a stomach virus. On a brighter note, Ryan has finally been initated as a Dad. This saturday, while I was at the Y, Ryan endured the mother-of-all sickly diapers. He threw up in his mouth, but he was able to leave the naked child and sprint onto the wood floors to keep from barfing on Ava or the rug. Luckily, there was no external barfing at all. Sunday was not so lucky, as Ava ended up throwing up on previously barf-free rug and Ryan. He deserves a gold star.
